原帖说选e，但是prep08语法笔记里说the ability 跟to do 啊。

since E creates ambiguity and ability of doing is unidiomatic

翻出08语法笔记关于able/ability的用法
sb's ability to do sth或ability of sb/sth to do sth
be able to do
have ability to do ； ability of sb. to do

同意，记得OG里好像有说the ability of doing 是不对的
