Issue:
As we acquire more knowledge, things do not become more comprehensible, but more complex and mysterious.

Argument:
The following appeared in the summary of a study on headaches suffered by the residents of Mentia.
"Salicylates are members of the same chemical family as aspirin, a medicine used to treat headaches. Although many foods are naturally rich in salicylates, for the past several decades, food-processing companies have also been adding salicylates to foods as preservatives. This rise in the commercial use of salicylates has been found to correlate with a steady decline in the average number of headaches reported by participants in our twenty-year study. Recently, food-processing companies have found that salicylates can also be used as flavor additives for foods. With this new use for salicylates, we can expect a continued steady decline in the number of headaches suffered by the average citizen of Mentia."

V:
1.   Global cooling. 有一种aeroxxx的颗粒在大气层中聚集，导致多雨和反射太阳光，进而导致全球变冷。这种颗粒在北半球还造成了各地温差加大。
2.   65million years ago 恐龙灭绝是由meteorite撞击造成的，在250million year old 的sediment里面也发现了meteorite上面的物质，推断也是由撞击导致了毁灭。但是这种物质的含量较少，所以如果是meteorite带来的话，那么只能是中型的meteorite，不可能造成物种灭绝，所以应该是comet带来的，应为comet含大量ice
3.   19世纪初的音乐评论家很喜欢批评莫扎特的作品，但实际上那个时候莫扎特的音乐在concertgoer当中很popular
4.   一篇鸟的，没太看懂。说是鸟很喜欢在dawn和dusk唱歌，因为light level 的变化。还说鸟不喜欢在天没亮的时候吃东西因为在这个时候其他的鸟irresponsive?
5.   有大量关于外来病毒和捕食者导致本地物种灭绝的研究，但是关于外来competitor导致本地物种的灭绝却鲜有人研究。For example， 400年前北美流入了很多外来植物，到现在20%的北美植物都不再是本地植物了，但是并没有本地植物消失的事情发生。
