请教两个GWD语法题。。。马上就要考了，好慌啊。。。

答案选的是C，但是最后未划线部分不是over the last two years么？这不是应该和完成时连用的么？
为什么不选E？

答案选的是C，为什么A不对啊？A对称很好啊。。。

我试着回答一下你的问题.
1. gmat语法要求对原文做最小的修改,所以应该先考虑前三个.只有在该范围内没有找到答案时才考虑"长相"相差很多的选项.本句主句是现在时,所以从句应该是现在时或现在完成时,过去时不可以.
2. pollution是leak oil的结果,并不是同时发生的动作,因此A肯定不对. barge ran around...and cargo leak oil 是两件事,可以并列. 污染是漏油造成的,用现在分词表示伴随的结果.
3. that引导从句修饰前面的名词the kind of ...struggles. 这道题有点意思.选limits 是因为中心词是the kind, of...struggles是修饰the kind. 你看一下第二题第三选项中its cargo of ...gallons是一样的表达方式.

1.with结构放句末是不能修饰它紧邻的名词的，它只能修饰它前面这个句子，但是这个题里面逻辑上说with结构修饰的东西应该是profits才对，所以不能是E，这题prep08笔记里面有的
2.同意楼上！
3.感觉是不是they的代词指代有问题~ant是单数，作一个种群来说吧~这一点不太确定，但是ant...their这个比较奇怪

1 你可以用排除法，依据，动词优于形容词优于抽象名词优于动名词，用的是简洁的原理，然后看了看了就剩下,a, b, c了，a中的it多余，b中不能用had这样就是表示了过去的过去了，根本不是这个意思，所以就剩下c对了
而且这个题，就像tangjiwei同学说的那样with的用法哦
2也可以这样用动词优于形容词优于抽象名词优于动名词，用的是简洁的原理，就剩bce，b可以用with的用法来解释，而且，it指代不明，e，and they are polluting冗余，是不是也是有点指代不明呀
3我觉得是不是这样的，用后面的 in its native Argentina.来确认用it，这样就这接就排了，而且我自己认为哦，这本来就是个 so 。。。。that的用法，so 应该加形容词similar吧，加上similar to another这样一个短语，有这个用法吗，我好像没见过呢，

我补充下楼主几位朋友的解释
第一题：it指代/with的用法

第二题，第三题LZ要注意看meaning哦~2）到底是一个Oil barge因为脱离了海岸导致了pollution还是leakage of the gallons导致的pollution...正确答案应该是油漏出来导致的污染 3）看划线句子前面the argentine ant已经说明指的是族群了，所以后面应该用the ant指族群，而不是用复数名词...但是答案A后面的that limits我持保留意见，这个动词貌似多了个s
