1'43" Elizabeth was the 1st woman to be a doctor, and was born in a good family, because her parents thought human being had equal right to ge education, men vs. women. 1'40" Elizabeth learned medicine privately. She tried to apply to study medicine in colleage but no one accpeted her. later she was accpeted in a medicine school because her male classmates thought it was funny to have a womon in the class. 1'51" Elizabeth finally overcame all the difficulties to be a doctor and moved back to NYC. Later she helped her sister Emily to be a doctor too. Elizabeth and her sister opened a hopital in NYC area to help women and children. 2'08" After Elizabeth's success in NYC, she also opened medicine school to train women doctors and hospitals in other cities. She as well opened medicine shool and organized social group for health in London. Beyond these, she not only treated her patients but also visited them to teach them about disease prevention. 1'36" A new moon was found, and it was temperarily named P4. NASA used their technology to capture pictures of the stars. Rest 40" The telescope helped people understand better of the universe than did not have it. Through obversing the universe, experts found black holes that was believed as fiction before. NASA was trying to make another telescope to understand universe further. So did TEPCO, one of the monopolies. 2) Current technology for engergy: Nulcear -- Citizens don't had confidence with the technology. -- If Nuclear reactors were freezen, it would hurt GDP and employment situation. -- The general companies worked with government. -- No altertive technology to be chosen against Nuclear. 3) Solution: salor power stations can be used to replace nuclear. But, the process and the regulation are very complicated to make it done. |
