1. Riot began on Aug 6th in first London and then fast spread to 7 other cities - not only the poor ones but also the richer.
2.Governors are heading back from their vacations to their offices to deal with the riot.
3.The reason for the riot: The riots were provoked mainly by the plight of the economy and by the inefficient efforts put by the Met. For now, the politicians are lucky to avoid criticism cuz most of the accusition are pointing at the Met now.
4.3 political changes might be brought into being by the series of riots:
(1)Firstly, the minister Cameron might not show too much hoody-hugging(not sure what this means, being emotional about the incidents, I guess~). But he might carry out more actions to release the tension.
(2)Secondly, the policing will probably be improved after this. People have been unsatisfied with the policing other than education.
(3)Finally, the political influence might last for a while, and the fierce way to express the unsatisfaction toward the government might be applied to other social issues besides the economy and the policing.
5. All in all, the most urgent mission for the miniter at present is to put an end to the riots ASAP.
