Employment is based on several factors, e.g. economy, school brand, candidate experience, etc. Outside of the factors that you can't control such as economy, what differentiate one candidate from another is school and experience/previous education. Yes, the school brand is important, but the candidate's previous experience/education is equally or even more important. Just by looking through some student profile there, there are some people that just aren't attractive to me if I'm the hiring manager.
