这篇文章...我搞不懂merger acquistion 和bidder是啥意思...
还有最后一句:Alternatively, the acquisition acts of bidders may derive from modeling: a manager does what other managers do
是啥意思~?

没看文章，仅就字面意思解释如下：

merger acquistion 合并收购，一法律术语，比如A公司收购B公司，B公司合并到A公司了。bidder是投标人或发盘人，比如上面的A 公司收购B公司，则A公司是bidder,B公司是target company.
