问一下，Accounting的PhD毕业以后可以从事什么职业？就业前景如何？

it sounds that the motivation for Ph.D. is not right. If you apply for Ph.D., you should know what's that about. Needless to say it's hard to get into accounting or Finance programs; even if your gf is in, she may find not suitable.

想去industry的话还是读master吧
