OG DS 152求解释~~~

题目是这样的：
If Carmen had 12 more tapes,, she should have twice as many tapes as Rafael. Does Carmen have fewer tapes than Rafael?
1) Rafael has more than 5 tapes
2) Carmen has fewer than 12 tapes
其实1）很简单，not sufficient。但是，OG上2）的解释就有点不懂了：
Given that C<12, it follows that 2R-12<12, or R<12, so it is sufficient. 为什么C<12andR<12就sufficient了呢？

如果carmen有12tapes，用12+12 是twice的话，那么rafael也是12个
但carmen比12少，再加上一个比自己大的数再平均下来是要比carmen的那个多一些的，所以就sufficient
