8. A construction company was paid a total of $500,000 for a construction project.The company’s only costs for the project were for labor and materials.Was the company’s profit for the project greater than $150,000?
(1)The company’s total cost was three times its cost for materials.
(2)The company’s profit was greater than its cost for labor.

ANSWER: C
I WONDER HOW THESE TWO STIMULUS CAN WORK TOGETHER?

(1)不充分，算不出利润，所以排除答案A和D
(2)不充分，利润有小于等于$150,000的可能，所以排除答案B

(1)+(2)，P>L，L=2M，P=500000-3M，500000-3M>2M，M<100000，3M<300000，P>200000>150000，充分，得到答案C
