Dear XXXX:
We are excited to announce that a recent faculty change has expanded the number of in-depth academic areas from which Full-time Berkeley MBA students can choose to focus their studies. Students may now select from among nearly a dozen Areas of Emphasis that will provide direction in achieving specific career goals through recommended courses, extra-curricular activities, and internship opportunities. The Areas of Emphasis currently include Marketing, Finance, Strategy/Consulting, Real Estate, Global Management, Health Management, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy and Clean Technology, and Non-profit and Public Leadership. A campus certificate in Real Estate will also remain available, while other former certificate programs will now be offered exclusively as Areas of Emphasis.
We will be holding a webinar on Thursday, February 17th from 3:30 to 4:00pm PT, hosted by the MBA Program Office and Career Services to address any questions you might have about this change.
