1）今天是他连续第二个休息日
2）相对于今天来说，4 days ago他是工作的

Let's do it this way:

Six days ago, the worker is doing exactly the same thing he is doing today. 5 days ago, the worker was doing what he is going to do tomorrow. So 215 days ago, the worker was doing what he is going to do tomorrow.

Therefore
1) If today is the second rest day, tomorrow the worker will work. So the worker worked on his birthday
2) If the worker worked 5 days ago, he is going to work tomorrow. So the worker worked on his birthday.

Both conditions are sufficient.
