Hello,

If I finished and transfered my associate degree from a 2 year community college to a 4 year university, and then received a bachelor degree at the 4 year university, will my GPA be downgraded when applying for PhD?

For example, I finished an associate degree from Snow College with 3.9 GPA and transfer to BYU. My BYU GPA is 3.82. Will the admission only take my BYU GPA 3.82 or average all credits(BYU + Snow College GPA) with equal weight, which is 3.86. or

My associate degree GPA will be downgraded a little... say... 3.84? (Of course if they downgrade mine, I understand that it is hard to say how many GPA will be downgraded. It is just an example)

Thank you very much

BYU  3.82的GPA 对你是big plus 我个人坚信这点

Hi,

Thanks. Maybe I am greedy. If they think that I graduated with my bachelor degree with 3.86 GPA (BYU + Snow) rather than 3.82 (BYU only), it will be much better.

Thanks
