Of the people who attended a workshop, 60 percent were teachers and some of the teachers were teachers of language arts.What percent of the people who attended the workshop were teachers of language arts?
(1)200 people attended the workshop.
(2)72 of the teachers who attended the workshop were not teachers of language arts.
答案是C。但我认为是E啊，告诉200个人，可推出120个是老师，告诉72个不是教语言的，但又没说老师就两种一种教语言，一种不教，所以不能推出多少人教语言。大家讨论讨论！

你理解错了,72个不教语言的,那就说明120-72=48个教语言的,那答案就是48/200=24%`````要会转弯啊,我想了3分钟,哎,考试时就来不及了

LS，我还是不明白some of the teachers were teachers of language arts，就可推出老师就是两种，一种教语言，一种不教？如你所说，剩下48人，那么有可能其中20人教数学，28人教语言，那么就不是你这个答案了。我之前大概表达不清楚。再讨论一下？

你的思维太复杂~具体解题如下
条件给出的有：1）有很多人（假如M个人），其中60%参加一个workshop的都是老师 2）这些老师们里面又有一些是art老师（假如是N个老师），问最后可否知道art老师占总人数M多少百分比
条件1）M = 200
条件2）参加的老师里面有72个不是art的（这里当然就是说除了“是art老师”就是“不是art的老师”），
所以这个条件改写为 60%*M - N = 72

根据以上条件，马上知答案

我和楼主一样一开始认为72 of the teachers who attended the workshop were not teachers of language arts. 不等同于 The number of the teachers who attended the workshop and does not teach language arts was 72.

GMAC用词不是很严谨。但是这不是argument写作……
