Hi Jon, Thanks so much! -- by 会员 aa198621 (2010/9/28 11:32:43)
Hey there—I am so sorry that you are sad to give up your dreams. But this is perhaps a very valuable lesson for you. And you didn’t even have to spend $200K to learn it! Always put your best foot forward. Now, you have the ability to make your application better. You do IT—and admissions people will wonder if you have the ability to switch to a management consulting position (which IS a career goal, by the way). So now you have a year to convince them. Can you do more consulting at work? Switch to an IT consulting company? Is there a consulting business group that you can join? Can you do extra-curricular consulting? You get what I mean—use this year to improve your BUSINESS background. Join clubs, take on more roles at work, manage people, take extra classes—this year is a GIFT. Now that you have spoken with us, and now that you have all this great information, use it to your advantage. And get in next year! J
Good luck to you, and believe me Round 1 2011 is right around the corner! CBS starts accepting applications in September…
