跪求MKT选校。。我也纠结了。。WPI(GA) vs. DePaul

非常同意你的第一点~

关于第二点，或许“硬技术”的专业课程设置会对纯应届生更加有帮助，Project Management，E-Business Applications等等这样“宽泛的”适合MBA的专业课程貌似更适合有经验的人~（纯属个人观点，来源于我找工作的体会，欢迎拍砖）

现在国内的mkt市场，做marketing research的乙方非常多，而“强调结合科技企业和科技创新,其国内就业方向可能较广”，这句话我暂时持保留意见，据我所知的就业方向在国内应届生岗位很少，关于此的都是比较高端的职位（strategy层面的），因此，如果想起步就做mkt的话，前者是一个更好的选择。我同意最后一句，“如果中长期目标是自己创业的话，也许 WPI的项目对培养我的思维和视野更有帮助。”

嗯 thx 我目前就是ls这么想的也如同ziye姐姐所说学校差别不大关键是以后的发展方式

我现在的感觉是,Depaul是集中培养数据分析能力,而WPI更能培养较全面的能力,可能depaul在找工作和初期工作有优势,而wpi会培养更开阔的思维和视野.

初期上手显然是depaul比较容易。但想有更开阔视野的话就选WPI（而且他还有钱）>_<

不过一个UIC教授（俺推荐人）的观点给大家参考，希望对以后的同学有帮助，极力推荐Depaul的B-school，说比WPI好不少。

第一封 email：
Note that these ranking are not reliable at all, and indeed very fluid, should not be taken seriously.
You should decide a school based on consistent solid foundation and backgroud not yearly "rankings" its meaningless. In my opinion Depaul is way much solider institution than WPI. In addition Chicago is one of the two financial captial of US and it has some of the world's best schools within close
proximity!
第二封：
You also should note that Depaul is much more competitive place to get into because of its strategical position! WPI had about 80% acceptance
rate which is double of that of Depaul. That pretty much says all.
第三封：
You are influenced by the wrong factor! Like I told you repeatedly "ranking" at that level and within the catagory is meaningless (even in China) and certainly will NOT play a important role in your future job applications.

For job purposes the most crucial factors are "experiances" and "references".
At Depaul you will able to have much better of both of these.

虽然是个老帖了，但是还是想回一个，depaul的Mkt师资很好的，而且中国人也少。GA的话，Wpi才给4500刀。。。。这也太抠门了吧，depaul的GA是可以免九门课学费，至少相当于32400刀，而且每个月还有450刀的工资发哦。。。

教授说的没错但感觉不适合中国国情啊……教授难道不知道中国招聘都是卡学历吗，海归还卡排名。。BTW难道国外大公司招聘就不看学校Reputation了吗。。不科学
