26题c 选项，the purpose of the passage is to---acknowledge and counter adverse criticism of programs being used to stimulate local economic development.这是错项，OG解释是，
the passage acknowledges problems but does not counter criticism.
问大N：错项原文翻译。counter 是反对之意么？acknowledge 的当代朗文的解释是 1）to admit or accept that something is true or that a situation exists；2）if people acknowledge something, they recognize how good or important it is 那怎么解释，承认并且反对***不利的评论，或是认识到***的不利的评论的重要性但是反对评论。逻辑上都不通啊~~

第二个句子：P396 line21 often researchers restrict study participation to patients who have no ailments besides those being studied.
恳请da N整句翻译一下哈~~尤其besides those being studied 。
