1. Last month 15 homes were sold in Town X. The average (arithmetic mean) sale price of the homes was $150000 and the median sale price was $130000. Which of the following statements must be true?

I At least one of the homes was sold formore than $165000

II At least one of the homes was sold for more than $130000 and less than $150000

III At least one of the homes was sold for less than $130000

2. At a dinner party, 5 people ware to be seated around a circular table. Two seating arrangements are considered different only when the positions of the people are different relative to each other. What is the total number of different possible seating arrangements for the group?

3. Of the students who eat in a certain cafeteria, each student either likes or dislikes lima beans and each student either likes or dislkes brussels sprouts. Of there students, 2/3 dislike lima beans; and of those who dislike lima beans, 3/5 also dislkes brussels sprouts. How many of the students like brussels sprouts but dislke lima beans?

(1) 120 students eat in the cafeteria.

(2) 40 of the students like lima beans.

4. A certain city with a population of 132,000 is to be divided into 11 district, and no district is to have a population that is more than 10% greater than the polulation of any other district. What is the mininum possible polulation that the least poluated district could have?
