Approach to one essay

I have a quick on the approach to a Booth Essay. The questions reads:

"Describe a time when you were surprised by feedback that you received. What was the feedback and why were you surprised?"

I am quite confused abt whether I should just focus on the content of the feedback and the reasons that i am surprised? Some of friends say it is more important to elaborate on my action plan after I receive the feedback. Nevertheless, the essay does not ask for that.

Could you help me gauge what the adcoms are really looking for here in this essay?
