resulted from mating 是修饰哪个词儿的。。。

1.主句的主语为We，不通，只能是Objections。
2、是修饰intermediate,从句是倒装。正常语序：
in which intermediate resulted from mating between those of the parents froms. 但这样分句的主谓隔得太远了。

全句是个大倒装，正常应为：
that of blending inheritance, in which intermediate resulted from mating between those of the parents froms was the accepted theory of heredity.

In my view,主语是We,谓语是forget，宾语是objections ，later shown to be incorrect这个Shown过去分词修饰Objections.

若主语是objections,那么后面remenbering的逻辑主语是什么？

偶以为forms是第三人称单数，

intermediate为名词，被resulted from....修饰，意为中间物质。

意为：依该理论，因父母交配形成一种中间物质。

该中间物质带有双亲的遗传特性，所以叫blending inheritance theory.
