Good question. In my view, if you look at the finance, I think Cornell is the best in the schools you list here and Cornell has strong reputation in China. If you look at the reputation in the US, of cause Duke would be the best in the schools. And if you want to have a wonderful life in the US, probably UCLA would the best choice as the west coast is so impressive and beautiful comparing to the east. However, Cornell is famous for its beautiful campus and NC, where Duke is located, was said beautiful too. Kelley wouldn't be in your choice I think as the place was called "even the bird won't make eggs" (translated from Chinese). But I don't recommend you go to Cornell in winter time and to Duke in summer. Cornell is in a very small town, basically you need to drive - probably 2 hours - to get into a metropolitan but the view in the route is soooooooo beautiful that I didn't even imagine it when I was in China. I also visited McComm, Austin is definetely a nice place to go but the campus of UT Austin is just soso. :-) Ha, so it's your own choice but I would recommend Duke, Cornell, and UCLA. Good luck!

valarie,Thanks. U seems know much about    US bschools. I fuly agree what you said. I will go there in Winter.(Jan to Apr,2005), Cornell should be covered with snow then!

I will probably choose Cornell as my first choice. I have a dream of ivy league school. Most of the time, I guess, will be consumed in study. So it does not matter so much whether it is so far from NYC. After study, I would probably visit north east, which is probably the heart of US culture and soul of US spirit.

Then Duke. The triangle area is fantastic too. Durham ahould be bigger than Isaka. A peace life. Then UCLA, think about the Hollywood films!

By the, which school is the top 3 famous school(by sequence)    in US and China?

I guess in US:1,Cornell2, Duke,3,UCLA

CHINA,1,Cornell2, UCLA3,Duke.

Thanks a lot.

I have consulted many US natives. They all feel amazing if you graduate from Cornell!

emm, I would agree with your choice as Cornell is so impressive when you think about you are alumni of Li den hui, and a lot of others too, right? But talking about the reputation in the US, it's not that simple. As far as I'm concerned, the US-Schools' reputation is changing dramatically from year to year. Less than 10 years ago, Duke MBA was just out of top-10, but now it's a undoubtedly top-10 business school while Cornell's MBA program had never been in top-10 (correct me if I'm wrong ;). Talking about the overall reputation, it's also amazing to the American's that you are going to Duke as it is the No.5 of the best graduate school in the US. So talking about reputation:

in the US, I would say 1)Duke, 2)Cornell, and 3)UCLA, however,

in China, it should be 1)Cornell, ....probably 20) Duke, and 21) UCLA

Just my own thought
