If you have other choices, don't go. SLC is not a good place for career-oriented young people. And it's so religious and 70% of the population are mormons...which means life is really boring. I had a chance to visit U of Utah when I was there, but I didn't find anything attractive. However, you're right about one thing: everything is "很便宜".
