TOPIC: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, there are numerous debates about the issue whether or not parents are the best teachers. Some people hold the opinion that parents do not play significant education roles in children's life. Others, however, contradict it. From my point of view, parents are encouraged to educate children as teachers because of the following reasons.

First of all, the important reason in support of my view is that for children, parents are excellent examples to follow.  As a baby, they follow the way that its parents speak. As a child, they follow they that his parents deal with things. Children spend most time staying with their parents. Children watch and observe what their parents do. Obviously, parents’ behaviours bring about profound impacts on children.

In the second place, another chief reason for my view is that it is easier for children to believe and remember what their parents teach. A research which is conducted by researchers from University of Toronto shows that 98% children think they trust their parents best. Through such high rate, children will keep things that their parents teach them in mind, whatever it is. Even sometimes the information will not be exact or accurate; children accept it with no doubt. In the view of the effects of this, parents can help children study more quickly and efficiently.

Last but not least, the reason why I think parents are best teacher for students is that parents have better understanding of how to teacher their children rather than the school teachers. As the child is born, for both the child and parents, they know each other naturally. Parents always know what their child need or require. That will provide parents with more opportunities to get the correct and proper way to educate their children.

To conclude, because of the important effect that parents have on children's life, therefore, we may reach the conclusion that parents are the better teachers than any other teachers.
