Apparently, the conclusion is the last sentence: The diversification would strengthen the corp ---> varying the sources and schedule of its annual revenues
Promises:
1.
No hostile takeover attempt ---> Wellco planned to take out large loans + purchase pc + cf + mt ---> plunge corp into debt ---> unattractive to whom wants to take it over.
Attractive ---> No plunge into debt ---> no take out large loans ---> Hostile take over ( Contrapositive )
2.
Steadily rising insurance rates ---> pay off the debt within 5 years
3.
Revenues from 3 new businesses ---> meet operating expenses --- > varying the sources and schedule of its annual process.
Well apparently, the fastest way here are to exclude the possibilities of " not be able pay off debit within 5 years " and " not be able for the revenues of the whole corp to meet the business expanses " and to eliminate the possibilities that the overall debt would not be unattractive enough for whom wants to take over.
