[讨论]廉颇老矣？Stanford?

个人情况，国内电子名校Master, 同学遍布华为，中兴之类，工作经验10年左右，美国非一流大学2nd Master in EE, 毕业后一直在hightech industry, 做过两家Startup, 都被收购，虽未大发，小钱赚了一些，现在一家 Silicon Valley Startup 作Manager, 十月底刚考了GMAT, 710. 本来一直准备报Stanford，  离得很近，创业精神也match,  不过最近看的多了，反倒有些气馁了，主要是似乎公论Stanford喜欢年轻一点的学生，而本人年龄太大了，已经过38岁了。其实我自己倒不觉得年纪是问题，到Stanford也去参观过几次，老外面老，不少人看上去比我大多了。另外学生中老外居多，亚裔偏少，亚裔Female远多于male. 虽然Stanford claim age/race are not affecting admission, 感觉实际上还是有些影响。所以最近有些depress, 不只是否接着申请还是放弃？？ 想听听大家意见，谢谢！

谢谢大家comment, 并回四楼，Actually I am doing pretty well in my current career path, however after 10 years experience in two startup, I don't want to simply go for another startup, I have done two, enough for now. Besides, during the years,  I do feel the real need for more knowledge other than technology, I do see problems that need better answer.  So I feel I am really ready now for MBA, not just go for it because it sounds good.

老到一定程度也就年轻了
