One person should never make an important decision alone?

Whether one person should never make an important decision alone has become a widely discussion nowadays. Someone believes that one person should not make such decision alone because in that case the decision is lack sufficient thought. However, others believes that one should make decision alone because it can save a lot of time, and is essential for modern time business. As my view, make decision along have the extraordinary advantages. There are following reasons.

First, making decision alone is an efficient way of doing job. For example, there are two ways of make decision in companies. One is making the decision by a chief leader, which only takes hours or less; another is making the decision by meeting, which can takes days or more. Nowadays, the ability of response to certain emergence has greatly affected the growth of a company. In a case like that, there is no time for a meeting, so leaders have to make decision by their own.

Second, making decision alone can lead one do the right thing in most case. Some advices from colleague are useless, sometimes, even harmful to the decision. For example, someone who envies the status of his colleague in the company may probably give a harmful advice to him so that he can get his position. By searching the experience, one could make the decision fast and right.

Third, making decision alone is essential ability to certain job, such as doctor. For example, in the emergence apartment of hospital, doctor required to rescue people in short time, otherwise the patient would die, so there is no time for the doctor to think, and he must make his decision immediately.

In conclusion, making decision alone is required not only for time saving, but also for occupation requirement. Nowadays, making decision alone is an important ability no matter for companies or individuals.
