KinetiCapital is a fast-growing private equity firm, which is launching the 24-Month Analyst Program.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This is a pre-MBA program, at the end of 24-Month program, Analyst will get
1.  3 recommendation letters from Partners
2.  After evaluation, Analyst can also choose to join the 12-Month Associate Program.

Analyst will make a significant contribution to the investment performance of the firm while at the same time experience the full range of PE life cycle from fund raising, investment, portfolio value add to exit. After their experience, Analyst should be well prepared to enter a first-rank MBA program or pursue other business interests with the experience necessary to perform at a leadership level.

The positon is based in Shanghai.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.  Financial modeling and analysis;
2.  Business sector research within the primary verticals; presentations regarding existing/prospective sub-sectors for investment;
3.  Screening and evaluating prospective investments;
4.  Developing financial models for prospective investments;
5.  Participating in the due diligence of private equity investments;
6.  Deal execution & portfolio company management;
7.  Creation of new ventures;
8.  Planning the next Analyst Program;
9.  Special Assistance to Partner.

PEORESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  Top undergraduate degree preferrably from Fudan University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Tsinghua University.
2.  Superior academic and performance record.
3.  Strong modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
4.  1-2 years of work experience as an investment banker, management consultant, private equity professional, venture capitalist, or corporate development professional. Some technology project/deal experience or technology industry experience is a plus.
5.  Position requires a 24-month commitment.
