Whether building a large factory is a hot topic in our neighborhood. There are many people who consider a large factory means employment opportunity and economic boom, but others think that building a large factory would cause the problem of pollution. If I were faced with this issue, I would agree with the first one. In the following discussion, I would like to reason and provide evidence to support my viewpoint.

No issue is more important than the one that refers to employment opportunity. As the population of our country has been growing faster, more and more people are facing the risk of losing job. A large factory would provide more positions, such as engineers, workers and cleaners. This situation ,in turn, reduces the employment crisis and lighten people’s burden.

Economic boom is another head and chief reason that I have chosen to put here. It is no better illustration that can demonstrate the view. The new factory would need to buy a great deal of items from local merchants ,which invigorate the local economy. Perhaps most important ,a new factory could also potentially attract business form the surrounding neighborhood, bringing more investment into our community.

However, building a large factory also has its own shortcomings, such as pollution. Nevertheless, the merits of a large factory may bring carry much more weight than its disadvantages. So the striking conclusion is obvious.
