TOPIC:study by using high-technology or study in traditonal schools? 有一点就是感觉有些地方用词不准但是自己不会改哈....望牛牛们帮忙.比如交换意见... With the rapidly development of technology, to study at home by using computers will be a tangible choice for people in a few years. Hence, an issue has been raised recently that should students continue to gain knowledge in traditional schools or just stay at home and use high-technology to study. There is a considerable number of people hold the opinion of change the current education model. However, from my perspective, study in conventional schools is still the best way of education.
Firstly, the object of study in schools is not merely obtaining knowledge; it is a significant device for young people to learn and enhance many social skills such as communication skills and teamwork skills. In my school, group presentation and group project are two major channels to help students comprehend how to work with others and improve the ability of it. In the process of group working, individuals will finish their own part first. Then meet other teammates and discuss on the final draft of the project. Through this procedure I and my partners would consult our ideas and modify them and ensure the best form of the project ultimately, thereby, developed our skills of cooperation.
The lack of the abilities of self-control is another reason that I disagree with study at home. It has been showed by an internet survey that eighty percent of the time of using computer is for play games, listen to music, watch movies and chat by people under twenty years old. Because of the data above, in my point of view, young people are inappropriate to use computers to study. To demonstrate, my friend Jerry is a typical illustration of those people. He seldom finishes his homework on weekend because he is allowed to use computers on those two days and play games is the only purpose for him to sit beyond the screen at home.
Although my standpoint is study in the traditional schools, I do agree high-technology can help us on gaining knowledge. For instance, computers can be a substitute of such many books that it can contain all information in those books. Besides, the internet can provide a more convenient method for us to contact teachers or classmates or aware the latest founding or history of any areas. It reduces the time on searching information and communicating others thus we have more time to study. Nonetheless, these virtues cannot compete with the drawback it brings on abandon the education form which people have adopted thousands years.
In conclusion, currently, a variety of high-technologies have been invented to help people on social development. However, in my point of view, study in conventional schools is still the most suitable way for all the students to acquire knowledge and it is also helpful on improving the social skills and enhances the ability of self-control. Furthermore, people can use high-technologies in a propriety way to boost up the efficiency of education. |
