题目文章：People tend to judge how likely it is that an event will occur by observing how often and how prominently it comes to their attention. Over the past few years,not only have more lotteries been established but there have also been more advertisements featuring the winners of such lotteries.

题目：If the statements above are true, which of the following conclusions can be properly drawn?

A  Those who run lotteries are trying to coerce consumers into buying tickets.
B Those who buy lottery tickets tend to notice advertisements for lotteries more than those who do not buy tickets.
C Lottery-ticket buyer may overestimate their chances of winning
D  Mininformed people should not be allowed to make decisions
E  Advertisements are the most common source from which people learn about lotteries.

答案是C，为什么B不对？请大家指教，谢谢

Combining first sentence and second sentence in the passage tells you that "more advertisements featuring the winners of such lotteries" gives lottery buyers attention and make them think they have big chance to win. "they have big chance to win" is the result of their judgement.
Answer B only gives you the fact that the buyers pay more attention to advertisements, but it does not tell you what judgement buyers make after they have the attention.
