Thanks for all your comments! I agree with kkgmat. After doing a more thorough school research, talking to alumi from both schools and using basically all the resources I could find, I believe to make a campus visit or attend admit weekend would be the best way to get over the "fit" issue. Unfortunately, I'm living in China and won't have the chance to get there before the response deadline. Below are some major factors I considered: 1. Academics - similar approach and comparable strength in terms of general management, my area of interet and career foucs. 2. Reputation - Tuck is relatively unknown in Asia, but I'm looking to stay working in US after graduation. In the US, Kellogg is not significantly better than Tuck I guess? The overall ranking of Kellogg is definitely higher though. 3. Placement - Tuck may have a slight edge in corporate recruiting. 4. Location - Chicago vs Hanover. I like big cities, but it would also be a good idea to spend 2 years in a nice rurual area and enjoy some outdoor activities. 5. Community - Both have a tight-knit community that I'm looking for, though Tuck > Kellogg due to its small program size and location. Accordingly, the size of Kellogg's alumni network is larger than that of Tuck. Finally, I don't have a strong inclination towards either school. Welcome any thoughts on which one I should choose to attend. Thanks again! |
