一些online apply的问题，谢谢！在线等

一些essay要求要limit to 2 pages，请问这里的page是指什么样的一页呢？word文档是可以调字体的啊，2页的字数实际上是可以通过调字体来改变的啊，只要用2页纸给就可以了么？到时候essay是以word形式上传吧？

还有recommendation letter选择下载规定格式表格填方便呢？还是网上直接提交方便？上网提交有个这样格式的东西偶看不懂

The standard is 1 inch margin, Times New Roman font, size 12, single space.  You can check with the school to see what they prefer.

It's probably easier for them if you submit it over the web.

Just put your initials in the box.  For example, A.N. for Autumn Nanna.

 我的意思是哪种方法可以使我的推荐人更省事呢？比方说我写好了推荐信，他们看了之后签名就ok了等等，因为我的那些头头实在太忙太忙了。。。。

还有那里的recommender waiver啥意思啊？

1. Would the recommenders know what "they" put in the recommendation letters when the schools get in touch with them?

2. Would the recommendations sound like your essays, in writing style and in material selection?

3. If they're that busy, can you submit the letters for them online?  Or get their assistants to do it?

4. It means you're not going to request to view the letters. 

当然我会要推荐人看眼我写的推荐信了，至少知道我以他们的名义写了什么

那网上提交只能由他们提交么？如果是以学校网站下载的表格形式填写的是不是可以直接由他们签名再由我和成绩单一起以hardcopy的形式邮寄出去，这样会省事些？我现在得选择以哪种方式提交RL啊

It's your call.  You'll be risking things getting lost and making admission's officers' lives more difficult.  The online submission form should automatically trigger an email to their mailbox with ID/password for login.  You can intervene that process or have their assistants do it.

I still think the chance of them remembering what you wrote a few weeks/months later is slim.  It's a slippery path.

这个字体调出来以后好大阿，2页根本写不了什么啊？哪个1inch=2.54cm我也调了margin啊，为啥还是不对。。。斑竹有调好字体格式的英文资料上传一份这样的格式作参考比较么？我还是不敢确定我的essay格式是对的

每个学校连格式都还要亲自发信问他们阿？我一个星期前发的封email，今天才回我了，而且这个格式问题是那么重要吗？我想多写点，这么少2页纸总感觉cover不完整自己，还有很多要写的，都不想放弃。我可以不按照那个格式，直接按自己意愿写，最后调格式在2页内，只要不是字体小的离谱就好了？

You can fit a lot in one page, not to mention two pages.
