hi h0399941, during the interview they told me they would recruit 2 or 3 people each year, and in the offer they said i am the only international student they admit this year. hope that helps and good luck!

If only look at the academic career, then the situation may not always be good for international Ph.D. students. However, if you take a look at the industry opportunities, there are lots of places prefer Ph.D.s, at least I know American Express, Bank of America love Ph.D.s., also, those I-banks like Ph.D. as well.

Another way is to go to consulting firms, big bucks also... :-) Compared to Ph.D.s from many other disciplines...
