advice about Duke essay 2

Please give some advice about Duke( fuque) essay:

How has your personal history and family background influenced your intellectual and personal development? What unique personal qualities or life experiences might distinguish you from other applicants? How will your background, values and non work-related activities enhance the experience of other Duke MBA students and add to the diverse culture we strive for at Fuqua? Note: The goal of this essay is to get a sense of who you are, rather than what you have accomplished.

I do not know 1) whether  need to answer each question  2) how answer these questions ,with short stories respectively to answer the questions or a long story including all questions?

1。 I think so.

2. It depends. If you can find ONE good story, use one. If you have several, use several.

This essay is trying to see whether you are highly consistent in the main decision making processes (academic, professional etc.). If there is any inconsistency, explain it with reason. Basically it is to ask who are you in real person (emphasize your true self and uniqueness with retrospective insights and proved by real stores) and what you can contribute to Fuqua (to bridge your past with your goals in Fuqua).

As to how to write it, use brief and logical transition sentences to chain all your main points and storeis together. I personally don't treat it as a combination of respective questions. It's an intact essay with answers to every questions in it, naturally, logically, truly.
