求教OG21CR题

Gmat完全新手，现在主要在看OG21进行复习。每天都是错很多倒下又爬起来的过程痛苦挣扎中。。。
有一道题看了讲解也不是很明白，希望有大神可以帮忙讲解一下

Although the school would receive financial benefits if it had soft drink vending machines in the cafeteria, we should not allow them. Allowing soft drink machines there would not be in our students' interest. If our students start drinking more soft drinks, they will be less healthy.

The argument depends on which of the following?

A If the soft drink vending machines were placed in the cafeteria, students would consume more soft drinks as a result.
B The amount of soft drinks that most students at the school currently drink is not detrimental to their health.
C Students are apt to be healthier if they do not drink soft drinks at all than if they just drink small amounts occasionally.
D Students will not simply bring soft drinks from home if the soft drink vending machines are not placed in the cafeteria.
E The school's primary concern should be to promote good health among its students.

这道题正确答案选A，在做题的时候也是A和C纠结了一下。
讲解写的C是：
Even if drinking small amounts of soft drinks occasionally would not harm the students, vending machines in the cafeteria could lead the students to drink excessive amounts.

自己理解是如果完全不喝饮料学生就会更健康，这个前提条件支撑If our students start drinking more soft drinks, they will be less healthy.这句话。
可以做为选项。为什么不对呢？

情景：虽然放一个饮料自动售卖机可以增加利润，但是我们不应该这么干，因为学生们喝饮料不健康。

推理：本题的前提和结论讨论的是不同的事件，并且结论是果。
顺序的因果逻辑：因为学生们喝饮料不健康，所以我们不应该放一个饮料自动售卖机
（因）前提：学生们喝饮料不健康
（果）结论：我们不应该放一个饮料自动售卖机

选题方式：因果推理只有一个评估方向，简而言之，即（由于本题问的是假设，所以答案选项需在“取非”后满足），反驳推理文段中的结论。

选项分析：

A选项：Correct. 如果在食堂放置一个饮料售卖机，那么学生们最终会消耗更多的软饮料。若放置一个饮料售卖机也不会导致学生们多买饮料，则本选项必然可以反驳结论。

B选项：现在学生们在学校消耗的饮料数量并不会对他们的身体有害。无论现在消耗的量是否有害，都不能反驳放了饮料机后是否会有害。

C选项：如果学生们根本不喝饮料的话，那么他们将会比偶尔喝一点的人更加健康。本选项和售卖机其实没有关系，如果建立了售卖机，学生们就不是偶尔喝的问题了。

D选项：如果售卖机不建立，学生们不会从家带饮料来。就算是有些学生会带一些饮料来，那么增加一个售卖机至少会让一些学生多买饮料。

E选项：学校主要的关心应该是让它的学生拥有良好的健康。本选项和方案无关，主要讨论的是方案的目的。

我的理解是这样：
孩子喝饮料会不健康，所以不能放自动贩卖机。当中存在逻辑gap——即放了贩卖机也不一定就会喝更多饮料，只有加上这个前提，推理才成立，所以选A。

而选项C的问题就是它只是再次强调了一遍孩子喝饮料不健康，而没有补上这个逻辑gap，只是简单的重复题干不足以构成assumption，所以错误。
