Hey,
I feel like there is not that much of a difference at the same or similar ranked programs. But at the same time at 2-year programs there’s an element of security since you have your first summer to test out something new with an internship, and often if you do a good job this is where a major job offer can come for you.
But otherwise, if a one-year program is better for you, don’t hesitate to apply to them.
