不用我说你自己也知道分数肯定是overkill的。所以你的关键在于讲故事上，你可以找个比较懂得人，仔细梳理一下简历看看有没有好故事。如果故事不足够好的话，再等一年会不会有质的变化？

你如果是美国护照，我觉得你就只需要讲一个“通过MBA Switch 到 XX“的故事就足够黑丝袜了，如果不是则要更仔细一点。

另外就是，也确实需要真正正视自己的passion。你心里的passion究竟是什么？

So I think you don’t need to wait if you are ready to go. The advantage will be there, but small. If you are ready now, make the move! And in worst case scenario if you dont get in this year, you save next year as a backup with a better profile.

But get started NOW!

On a separate note, what do you think of applying in round 2? I just don't think my application will be ready by most R1 deadlines, especially HBS. From your experience, how big of a difference is there in terms of acceptance rate? Personally, I do think it's worth taking two extra months to package myself especially with the essays.

Alina,
From my experience applying in Round 2 is almost the same as applying in round 1, except there tends to be a little less money for scholarships. But all in all, if you can prepare a better application for R2, don’t rush things!
