关于推荐信，准备辞职考GT申请明年MBA

先说下本人背景，知名五百强区域总部在职3年，想申请17年fall入学，但是工作太忙一直没办法投入学习
准备这几天辞职开始一心放在GT 和申请上，但是辞职之前要做哪些准备？是不是要找2位领导写推荐信呢？公司领导都很忙肯定不会抽出时间写推荐信的，大家说这种情况要怎么办好？

建议不要辞职申请，会让adcom觉得你不能multi-tasking

长远说，在读mba面试工作时，不容易解释gap year除非你有很compelling的reason (比如支教，义工之类的）

感谢亲的答复，辞职是肯定了，gap year到时可以解释，现在想知道辞职前要做哪些准备，比如怎么搞定推荐信

So first of all, stop right there! Do NOT quit to take the GMAT! It is a terrible idea. And it looks bad on your resume. If you have some way to "Take a pause" or be between two jobs, then okay. But do NOT take the risk of being unemployed when it is time for you to apply... That will kill your profile more than anything.

For your LORs, as long as they love you (which they should) even if you aren't working there, they will be hopefully willing to write you an LOR
