做prep遇到的一道题，没有答案解析，不太懂，求教！

If the population is not limited by the availability of animals for the tick to feed on, then introducing EXTRA animals for the ticks to feed on would have no effect.

If it is limited, then the plan could work because ticks would jump from the old host to the new host.
