“Government should place stricter limits on the ability of businesses to invade citizens’ privacy through telemarketing, E-mail, advertising, collection of personal information on consumers, and so on, even if those limits affect businesses’ profitability and competitiveness.”

143. “政府应该对企业利用电子市场,电子邮件,广告,消费者个人信息搜集之类的手法侵犯市民隐私的行为做更严格的限制,哪怕这些限制会影响企业的利润和竞争力。”

Position: There is no need for the government to take special measures to prevent businesses from invading their potential customers’ privacy.

A.     Businesses should have the freedom to market their products and services as long as they stay within the law.

B.     We can trust the invisible hand of the market for regulating the advertising behavior of businesses.

C.     Failing to respect the privacy of customers would ultimately harm the interests of businesses.


这篇文章思路所提到的第二点,我不太明白,the invisible hand of market怎样规范企业广告行为呢?请指点一二。或者能不能给出一个更明显的理由呢?

意思就是说政府没有必要干预市场这个看不见的手就可以很好的规范广告行为。


我个人是不同意这个观点的。


楼主如果也觉得从同意的角度写不好想,那么就正难则反。反正issue就是没有定论的东西呵呵。
