逻辑链：
非insincere--->非compromises
insincerity--->government is functioning well

第一个逆否等价：compromises--->insincere
则有compromises--->insincere--->government is functioning well，得出compromises--->government is functioning well

A为的意思是compromises不是proper functioning of a government的唯一必要条件，也就是说compromises是proper functioning of a government的必要条件之一。则有proper functioning of a government--->compromises

A--->B的有效否定有两种：
B--->A或者A交非B

题干说compromises是proper functioning of a government的充分条件，A说compromises是proper functioning of a government的必要条件就是对题干结论的有效削弱。

个人不是很习惯楼上提供的逻辑方法，可能因为是没看过任何逻辑基础的中文书。分享下搜集到的其他解题思路供大家参考。

Premise: To achieve politically necessary compromises, politicians must be insincere.

Conclusion: The very insincerity that people decry shows that our government is functioning well.

Assumption: the achievement of politically necessary compromises is sufficient to conclude that our gov. is functioning well.

The correct answer choice will attack this assumption.

A. "politically necessary compromises are not necessary for functioning of Govt" delinking politically necessary compromises from functioning of govt, hence weakens the argument.

B

In strengthen/weaken CRs, answer choices that include the word some should be viewed with great skepticism.
some = at least one.

B can be rephrased as follows:
At least one political compromise is not in the best long-term interest of the government.

Possible implication:
The vast majority of political compromises ARE in the best long-term interest of the government, STRENGTHENING the link between political compromise and a well-functioning government.

Gmatclub:
we are not interested in long term interests. we need to show that being insincere does not help gvt function well. Also it implies that there are political compromises which are in the best interest of the government.
