22.W: Hey,is Susan in the debate team? She'swearing a purple shirt today, doesn't everyone on the team wear a purple shirt on days when you're having a debate? M: I gess, but other people some times wear purple coloured shirts too you know. Q: What does the man mean? 23.M: I've been trying to reach you for days, but your line's always busy. W: You're lucky. You got me before my roommate came home. Q: What can be inferred about the woman's roomate? 29.M: We are thinking of taking the kids to the new aquarium this weekend. Do you think it's worth the trip? W: I've heard good things about it. I hope I get chance to go myself soon. Q: What does the woman imply? 22.Susan might not be a member of the debate team. 23.She spends a lot of time on the phone. 29.She thinks the children will enjoy the aquarium. |
