44. Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

This is a dilemma as to whether to travel alone or not. Depending on personal life experience, personality type and emotional concern, we may find some people prefer the idea of traveling alone. Others, on the contrary, believe that it will be more merits to travel with friends. As far as I am concerned, of the two opinions, I would rather advocate the latter than the former.

First of all, traveling with friends will promote and strengthen the friendship among them.  Nowadays, due to the busy life style and the fierce competition in the society, there are fewer and fewer time for modern-day people of communicating or sharing life happiness with their friends. Consequently, their friendship is gradually increasing estranged and not harmonious as before. During the trip, they not only could appreciate the pleasant landscapes together, but also could have a lot of warming talk with one another and sharing the life happiness or work experience. Those would surely improve the understanding and friendship between each other.

Second, group traveling is safer than traveling alone. When you are in a totally strange place, any emergence could happen in any minute. It is only the friends who traveling with you could rightly provide you the timely help. For instance, when you trap into a rock in the hiking trip, no others but your friends who are traveling with you could give you a hand in time.

In addition, group traveling are lower cost than traveling alone. From admission tickets to transportation fees, there often have the group discounts for the group travelers. They also could save the money by sharing the hotel room or having meals together.
