op, go to the top MBA program in states. Don't come to Canada. Canada is much different from what you are thinking. This country doesn't give a shit about your degree and your experience in China. All they care about is if you have Canadian experience, even if you have worked in BMO in China, they won't care, they will just cross that out in your resume coz that was not taking place in Canada.
Even if you go to UOFT, i would say you are still unlikely to get a job right away from graduation, coz only a few international students can get a job smoothly in Canada because the "local experience" and language. Unless you are studying CS, engineering or something.
If you go to US, the biggest issue you will be facing is your status, which means its not easy to find a company to sponsor your H1B. But as long as you go to a top school, thats not gonna be a very big issue. All in all, still better than Canada.
Last thing is, your gonna have chance to go to a really top company and gain a really nice experience, but in Canada, the top companies are like Bell, rogers, Telus... Which are shits compared to the US company and few people outside Canada will know them.
I hate to be dramatic, but that's true. |
