急问JJ里CR一道

1.        说某药厂只生产“防止孩子触摸到的”aspirin。但是一个survey发现很多没有孩子的成人也买没有这种防止孩子触摸到的设计的aspirin。所以要增加profit，这个厂决定生产这种没有设计的aspirin。问：下列哪个可以best evaluate这个工厂的decision？
                    

我在两个choices中间想了很久。

（1）whether sales from the latter will be enough to compensate the initial investment of it.

（2）whether people who will buy this new type of aspirin are people who normally by the former type.

 我倾向于选1。因为觉得2与PROFIT的关系不像1那样直接。

但是提供JJ者和整理JJ的MM都认为要选2。迷惑了

我的理由是：买新药和买旧药是互相独立的事件。就算买旧药的人还会买新药，如果他们买了新产品就不买旧产品了，profit也不一定提升阿。而initial investment，sales，profit之间的关系比较明确，here initial investment refers to the initial cost of production.

这题的逻辑结构主题是新和旧的比较所以 在选答案时除了选正确地  还要注意和原文的照应  选BEST  在A和B 都对的情况下  自然选择B  因为B 不但对 还紧扣原文
