Note: Chicago time is one hour ealier than New York City time.

It had therefore departed at 4:00a.m. Chicago time, then, since it is given that Chicago time is one hour earlier than New York tiem, it had departed at 5:00a.m. New York city time.

问：芝加哥比纽约早一个小时，那么芝加哥是4:00a.m的话，纽约不是3：00a.m.吗~~

"Chicago time is one hour ealier than New York City time" means if Chicago is 4.00, NY is 5.00.   "Early" doesn't means faster .

世界地图上从西到东时差都是加。。
