这句考的是同位语结构，belief指代a deep sympathy for those less fortunate；非限制性定语从句逗号后面which好像不能省略。

这句没看明白，好像句子有问题，看看其他人有什么看法。

这里考的就是一些特殊的及物动词的用法，designate sb/sth sth, to be 跟单词本身所有的含义有重复了。还有，to be好像很少有对的，有点罗嗦的感觉

I think the answer is D. here them refers to watches. so a watch should be replaced by watches.

好像楼上的观点有道理，因为后面的them就没有指代了.

A是错的. 如果是A, 那么应该把横线后面的 that 去掉. C对.

35。  be concentrated in 是对的。错在was 应改为were. arts  是复数。是不是？请指教。

字典上说art大多数时候是不可数的，只有在表示一个方法的时候才是可数的，但实际运用的时候好像都是用arts来表示所有的艺术。
再看看其他考友的想法

应该用分词patronizing,修饰government. 名词不能带宾语.
