Waitlisted by Darden

Interviewed on 28th Feb and waitlisted on 24th Mar.

I might be the 1st one in CD's history who received Darden interview but didn't get the admission to the school...I was shocked when I just got the result: My essay was perfect, my interviewer gave me hints that he would recommend me, even my parents also prepared a lot to ease my future VISA processing...  Sigh~~

Now I've been able to face this outcome possitively. Having only 2.5 years of working exp might be the major concern of the school's Adcom on me. BTW, the school just added one more application round, taking away some seats reserved for R3 applicants.

DARDEN今年很怪，放了好多人在WL上，还做出增加一轮这样的决定，不知道他们到底在想什么.

结果没出来的时候对这个学校很狂热，　觉得它的MBA光环会给我带来前途光明，　至于自己的兴趣和以后的奋斗方向米有什么太清楚的职业计划。 觉得如果我真的照Why MBA里的Career Ambition那么干总有一天会变成干瘪老太婆。

这样的结局大概是好事， 让我这种懒人想清楚真正适合自己的出路。

想不通多加一轮干嘛？不会是申DARDEN的人太多了吧～～～～

让我这种懒人想清楚真正适合自己的出路

Darden是非常非常tough的,不太适合懒人,不过也许经过Darden boot camp的砺炼,从此去掉惰性也未可知.

如果lz真的喜欢Darden,建议再争取一下.多给Adcom和interviewer写写信,强调自己对Darden的commitment和contribution.

Darden很注重申请人对学校的了解和忠诚度.
