我准备最近汇款报名GMAT，还来得及在年底考完申请明年的学校嘛？

不过我也想问同样的问题，如果十月考t，十月底或十一月初考g，申请明年的学校来得及吗？

Ok, let me give some answers according to my experience. Now, I'm writting essays and for the first school, it took around 6 weeks. For the second school, it's around 2-3 weeks. For schools I have strong interest, I need at least 1 month to write essays before I feel ready to submit. I have to say you will find that you need much more time to write essays, at least 2 months, because essays are even more important than GMAT (if for top schools, you already got higher than 700 with a good background).Essay is the window that BS can know who you are and what you want.I heard that someone wrote for 8 schools in one week, but did not get any interview even if he has a very good background. Now, you see how important role the essay plays during your application.

If you take GMAT at the beginning of this November, you still have a chance to catch R2 for some schools. Most people do not suggest to apply for R3 because it's much more difficult than R1 and R2.

You are welcome! Ask your husband to help you prepare application materials, such as select stories for different topics, prepare transcript....then you can focus on your GMAT now. I know it will be a very tough work to prepare GMAT and application materials at the same time. It may distract you.
