1. Patent competition. Google bought Motorlola, it seems that Google will have a bontiful of patents then ,but also it invloves lots of risk. 2. It seems that patent competition is becoming much more fierce. Every firm buy patent from other firms and concurrently, they sue each other. 3. Why companies now pay much attention on patent? Partly because they invest much in patent, partly because they need to invest more to prevent them.
4.5.6.7....... Totally lost....................................... Only remember: The US law treat every small innovation qualified as a patent, and Patitent sue is not that popular in Japan and Europe.
Final Graph: It is said that a new law would help to change the situation. The law is projected to be passed in Autumn, and Obama pledged to sign it. But the impact is still unknown, since there are different opinion. The law require that patent would be granted to those who first filed not those who first invented. For big companies they believe such a strategy would be wonderful, but for those small innovational firms they say it is really a harm.
